Gardner Construction is a full service, general contracting company based in DFW. They have been in business for almost two decades providing their clients with the highest quality builds and remodels. Their owner, Bart Garner, came to us for a full rebrand & web design project.
The client wanted something clean, but unlike other standard construction company branding that is found everywhere. No bright colors and loud designs. Taking this into account, we began creating logos that were inspired by construction, real estate, and modern design elements.
We chose a simple color palette consisting of a black, white, and tan accent color. We believe these three colors were the best choice to represent the Gardner Construction tone and branding.
After developing the branding suite, we moved on to business cards and web design. We kept the business cards minimal and used the tan accent color to make them more visually distinct and interesting to look at. This was also a good place to use the custom logo mark.
For the website, we took a contemporary route and it allowed for graphics and photography to really stand out. These elements are important when designing for construction since these type of websites can tend to be a bit word heavy. By using large, high-quality images, we were able to create a nice balance that allowed everything to flow naturally.
